THURSDAY APRIL 20 - Big Improvement

Well, now, thats more like it. After a 103 on Opening Day, I was due to play better, and I did. At University G.C., which used to be Urban Hills, I had 43-43-86, so I not only broke 100, I broke 90. In April. My 1st hole I hit the green in regulation and never looked back, with 3 pars on each side and no hole worse then double bogey, and my first birdie of the year, on the par-3 17th. A deuce always helps one's score. I hit 6 GIR's, and 5 fairways, although on that course the rough is short, so accuracy isnt a premium. My putt total was 32, with 6 1-putts. Never did I have 2 pars in a row, however, so thats next. My shot of the day was the 7-iron on 17 that set up my putt of the day, a 10-ft birdie putt. Very well done.
